Dr. Paul Sullivan is professor of economics at the National Defense University (NDU) and an adjunct professor of security studies at Georgetown University. He is a columnist for Turkiye Gazetesi of Istanbul, Turkey and the UB Post of Ulan Baator, Mongolia. Dr. Sullivan is a Global Expert at the UN Alliance of Civilizations. He is a regular contributor to the National Journal Experts Blogs for "Energy and Environment" and "National Security". Dr. Sullivan is often invited to high level meetings on various global security and resource issues. He is also in very high demand as an expert on various issues related to the Middle East, North Africa, extremism, International Economics, energy, water and food security and more by the US and global media.

He obtained his BA, Summa Cum Laude, from Brandeis University and has Ph.D. (with highest honors), M.Phil and MA degrees from Yale University. He is a graduate of the Seminar XXI program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
