Alice Willard

Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, International Relief and Developmen

Alice Willard is Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at International Relief and Development (IRD). In this position, she is responsible for providing M&E technical assistance to all IRD projects and proposals on demand for a two billion dollar portfolio across 40 countries.   She develops standards, policies, and training programs for IRD headquarters and field staff; supervises consultants; conducts needs assessments, surveys, and evaluations; reviews/revises technical scopes of work and analytical deliverables; and works with ongoing projects to refine/revise M&E systems. Dr. Willard has also served as a monitoring and evaluation consultant with Catholic Relief Services, American Association of Blood Banks, International Relief and Development, Land O'Lakes International Programs, Save the Children, Ferris-Morris Associates, and Catholic Relief Services/Zambia.

Dr. Willard has her Ph.D. in Sociology from The Johns Hopkins University and M.A.'s from  The Johns Hopkins University and the American University in Sociology and International Development respectively.
